Other Realms

Festival maps show you where the stages are. They don't show the moment something shifted in you at 4am, that conversation on that bench that's been staying with you since, or a feel good place you keep coming back to. In this workshop, we take a large print of the Ferropolis grounds and expand it together, marking the stories and places that don't make it onto any official map. Those who want to can then send their stories out into the festival as hidden notes for others to find.

Serkan Ünsal (he/him) is a trainer and educator working across media literacy, culture, politics, and music.

Victoria Jeffries (she/her) is a social scientist, political educator and co-founder of the queer, post-migrant educational format "erklär mir mal…".

Together they have built a practice of creating learning spaces that are politically grounded, community-oriented, and playful.

Josephine Pepita Niang (she/her) is a Communications strategist and Political Educator working at the intersection of club culture, political education, and discrimination-critical facilitation.
