    At the End, All You Own Is Your Shadow traces structures that only become visible through light. Conditions under which meaning emerges, shifts and slips away again. The iconic appears not as a fixed image, but as a permeable phenomenon, dependent on perspective and the fleeting moment of perception. The work moves between visibility and withdrawal, questioning the stability of those images we take for granted.

  • Felicitas Butt is a German-Kashmiri artist who lives and works in Berlin. Her works emerge from a continuous exploration of material and technique – she moves between installation, light, drawing and painting, depending on what an idea demands. At the centre of her work lies the question of how social and natural structures shape perception, behaviour and belonging. Nature serves her as a reservoir of imagery and as a model for systems in which the individual and the collective are inextricably intertwined.
