DOLLS TAKING CARE OF DOLLS

Workshops

FRIDAY 20:00, CHILL OUT COVE (CAMPGROUND)

  • This gathering is for all transfeminine people (trans women, travestis, transsexual people, people on hormone therapy, gender non-conforming femmes, Two-Spirit people, and more). It is a moment to come together, see one another, get to know each other, and build networks of care and solidarity.

We will share our desires, needs, and expectations for this Whole, as well as our worries and needs. It is also an opportunity to learn about community support groups in Berlin and beyond, to ask questions about our transitions, and to strengthen our connections beyond the festival.

Ruby is a white transfeminine person living in Berlin and a member of The Dolls, a community space connected to Casa Kuà. For the past few years, she has been holding and facilitating gatherings for transfeminine people, with an intention to nurture sustainable networks of care that can support us through our transition journeys. She is also committed to creating spaces where we can build meaningful connections and grow bonds of solidarity with one another.
